My Story

Helping People Find Connection

Some of the most meaningful growth in my life has come through seasons I never would have chosen.

Like many people, I've experienced seasons of grief, uncertainty, transition, and questions about what comes next. Finding myself balancing the scales of who I am and what I do. Those experiences have shaped how I see people and how I approach coaching today. They taught me that growth rarely comes from having all the answers. More often, it comes from having the space, support, and courage to ask honest questions and take the next step forward.

For most of my life, I've been drawn to helping people find connection. To themselves, to the people they love, and to the life they want to build. Looking back, that thread has shown up in nearly every season of my work and life.

My Background

I spent Seven years serving in church ministry, helping build communities where people could experience belonging, meaningful relationships, and personal growth. During that time, I learned the power of creating spaces where people feel safe enough to be honest, vulnerable, and known.

After ministry, I spent more than three years working with Onsite Workshops in Nashville, TN, a leader in emotional wellness and personal growth experiences. There, I had the privilege of supporting individuals and groups as they explored their stories, strengthened relationships, navigated challenges, and pursued deeper healing and self-awareness.

My work at Onsite also introduced me to experiential approaches to growth and transformation, including psychodrama, group process work, and action-based learning experiences. Those experiences reinforced something I've come to believe deeply: lasting change often happens when insight moves beyond our heads and into lived experience. While my coaching is not therapy, I bring a deep appreciation for experiential learning, reflection, and helping people engage with their lives in meaningful and practical ways.

Across both ministry and emotional wellness work, I found myself continually drawn to the same mission: helping people better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and move forward with greater clarity and purpose.

My Approach to Coaching

My coaching style is warm, curious, and practical.

I believe most people don't need someone to fix them. They need someone willing to listen well, ask thoughtful questions, and help them uncover what they may already know deep down. Coaching creates a space to slow down, gain perspective, identify what's most important, and take meaningful action toward the life you want to live.

Whether you're navigating a major life transition, working through relationship challenges, exploring personal growth, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to help you move forward with greater confidence, intention, and connection.

A Little More About Me

Outside of coaching, I love creating spaces where people can gather and connect. You'll usually find me spending time with my wife, cooking for family and friends, exploring local coffee shops (purely for ambiance, I don’t drink coffee), or working on a project around the house.

Music has also been a lifelong companion. Whether I'm playing guitar, sitting at the piano, building a road-trip playlist, or listening to an old record, music has always been one of the ways I connect with people, memories, and stories. I believe music and cooking has a unique way of helping us slow down, reflect, and connect with parts of ourselves that are often difficult to put into words.

At the end of the day, I believe we're all looking for many of the same things: connection, purpose, belonging, and the freedom to live more fully as ourselves.

It would be an honor to walk alongside you in that journey.
