FAQs
What is coaching?
1
Coaching is a collaborative process designed to help you gain clarity, identify goals, overcome obstacles, and move forward with greater confidence and intention. Rather than giving advice or telling you what to do, coaching creates space for reflection, growth, and action. Through thoughtful questions, practical tools, and ongoing support, coaching helps you make meaningful progress in the areas of life that matter most to you.
How is coaching different from therapy?
2
While both coaching and therapy involve meaningful conversations and personal growth, they serve different purposes. Therapy often focuses on diagnosing and treating mental health concerns, processing trauma, or healing past wounds. Coaching is future-focused and action-oriented, helping clients clarify where they are, determine where they want to go, and develop a plan to move forward. Coaching is not a substitute for therapy, and I am happy to refer clients to qualified therapists when appropriate.
Do you integrate faith?
3
Yes, when desired. My personal faith is an important part of who I am, and I am comfortable incorporating Christian perspectives, spiritual practices, and faith-based conversations into coaching sessions. At the same time, I work with clients from a variety of backgrounds and beliefs. My goal is to meet you where you are and create a coaching experience that aligns with your values and goals.
Are sessions in person or virtual?
4
Both. I offer virtual coaching sessions for clients anywhere, as well as in-person sessions for clients in the Metro Atlanta area. Depending on your goals, coaching can take place through individual sessions, ongoing coaching relationships, or customized intensive experiences.
Who do you work with?
5
I work with individuals and couples who are seeking greater clarity, stronger relationships, and deeper connection in their lives. Some clients are navigating major transitions, while others simply feel stuck and want support moving forward. Whether you're exploring personal growth, relationship challenges, life direction, or emotional wellness, coaching can provide a structured space to reflect, grow, and take meaningful action.
